Fuel Queue Increasing

Motorists queue for fuel at NNPC Filling Station along Kubwa Expressway in Abuja.

It's so sad that after removing the subsidy from the Premium Motor Spirit (Fuel), the masses still have to suffer before they can purchase a liter of fuel. Passing through kubwa express way this morning, the NNPC Mega station was an eye saw, as the queue was up to the BRT park at Katampe district. But what I still don't understand is how those black marketers (those selling in gallons) get their fuel. Even when you go to the NNPC towers you'll see them there.
Then what is the federal government doing about this situation? Are they still putting blame on the Jonathan administration? Or are they now handicap?
God help us in this country.

Bad teaching or quality education?

After the sack of over 30,000 teachers in kaduna state by the state government, NUT & NLC has decided to go on strike.
My question "do we prefer to have below standard teachers teaching our children or we want good sound and quality education"?
Of cause 30,000 (unqualified) teachers has been sacked definitely, 30,000 (qualified) teachers will be employed....
For these individual union to protest against this, to me is senseless, I wish NUT and NLC have their children in these respective schools, so I will see their reactions.
No wonder when it comes to low quality education, the north is rated with the highest vote. So I think this is a step in the right direction. If I as a teacher can not score up to 75% the exam I set for the pupils I'm teaching, then I am not worthy to be called a teacher.
Let's revive the education system in Nigeria.

Black Thursday in Benue State

#Benue #state experienced a #Black #Thursday today, and it's so glaring in the eyes that we don't have a #leader in #Buhari, neither does he have #love for the people of the state.
No matter how busy a leader is, in an #occasion like this. His #presence means a lot of things. Its so sad that he wasn't in attendance, but there's #someone #somewhere watching all this. A day of #reckoning is coming. May their #soul rest is #peace.

Why the #Killing

What will this #wolfs in #sheep's clothing say this poor innocent child has done to them that he deserve to be massacred like this? We've not even finished saying #happy #new #year, states across the nations are already been terrified by #herdsmen and #gunmen. Yet our #President is yet to see these people as #terrorist, maybe because they are his #kinsmen. But my prayer is that we shall not #experience any of these tragic incident neither will our #loved ones.
I call on the #presidency to act #ASAP.

World Cup 2014: Brazil vs. Germany breaks social media records

When the final whistle blew in Belo Horizonte to mercifully end Germany's 7-1 thrashing of Brazil in the World Cup semifinal, millions of Brazilians' hearts were broken. Also broken was the record set on Twitter for the most talked about sporting event ever.
With 35.6 million tweets across the roughly two-hour match, it far surpassed the 16.4 million soccer-related tweet record set just a few days earlier during Brazil's contentious win over Chile. It also easily beat the previous record of any sporting event, which was 24.9 million tweets set by the Super Bowl earlier in 2014.
The live-time heatmap of tweets related to the game below shows that nearly every corner of the world was tuned in to the route of the home country.
